Brudis & Associates, Inc. currently has excellent employment opportunities for  Project Management and Project Engineer positions in our Maryland, District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania locations.

Project Manager

Must be a registered licensed professional engineer and have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Five (5) years of responsible engineering design experience, with a consulting engineering firm or A&E, and a minimum of three (3) years experience of professional design services and overall project management experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Extensive professional services business experience, including preparation and negotiation of A&E fees, professional services contracts, business development, proposal preparation, construction bid evaluation, construction management, construction cost estimating, complex project planning, facilities programming, project scheduling, government procurement standards and cost control. Knowledge concerning policies and procedures followed by federal and state agencies in infrastructure design programs.

Civil Engineer

Applicant must have an accredited Bachelors Degree in civil engineering and a minimum of five (5) years experience in civil/transportation related projects.  Also must have experience in hydraulic and hydrology analysis and drainage, stormwater management, site design and MicroStation/CADD software. – P.E. preferred.

Structural Engineer

Applicant must have an accredited Bachelors Degree in civil engineering and a minimum of five (5) years experience in structural/bridge design projects.  Also must have experience in building additions/renovations, bridge design, bridge & structural inspections/investigations and MicroStation/CADD software. – P.E. preferred.

Traffic Engineer

Applicant must have an accredited Bachelors Degree in engineering with a minimum of five (5) years experience in traffic engineering projects which have involved traffic studies, capacity and accident analysis, traffic signal design and warrant analysis, ITS applications and strong computer skills including Microstation/CADD and transportation related software. P.E. preferred.
