District Court/Multi-Service Center Parking Structure

Maryland Department of General Services

In cooperation with the Maryland Department of General Services, Brudis & Associates, Inc. developed complete construction plans and specifications for a new concrete elevated parking structure at the District Court/Multi-Service Center in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. This 22,000 square foot precast structural system was required to satisfy the parking requirements of the motoring public visiting the facility, which operates nine (9) state agencies and two (2) court-rooms.

The new parking deck was built over most of the existing at-grade public lot and included an entrance ramp with security/gate controls, and landscape buffer along North Liberty Street in the downtown area.

Prince George’s County Office of Central Services

In cooperation with the Prince George’s County Office of Central Services, Brudis & Associates, Inc. was responsible for providing a detailed structural condition assessment and inspection for an existing five-level concrete parking garage structure built circa 1992.  The parking garage serves the Prince George’s County District Court building in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

The project involved a comprehensive condition inspection of the entire structure; and preparation of an inspection report that included photographs, drawings, repair recommendations and details, and cost estimates.
