Brudis & Associates, Inc. (BAI) provided water resources and environmental engineering design services for Contract B of the dualization of MD 404 from US Route 50 to MD 404 Business (Denton) project. The project limits are approximately from east of MD 480 to Denton, and included design of the roads, bridges and culverts for carrying flow of tributaries across MD-404. In addition to the roadway, bridges, and culvert designs, BAI provided hydrologic and hydraulic analysis services for the design of the bridge at Norwich Creek within Queen Anne’s County, which consists of the following:
- Hydrologic analysis for Norwich Creek and various tributaries
- Hydraulic analysis of Norwich Creek bridge and culverts relating to tributaries
- Evaluation of Climate Change impact on the design of Norwich Creek using Sea Level Rise projections
