We are thrilled to welcome Mitch Dobres, PE, PMP, as our new Head of Structures and Bridges! With over 25 years of experience as a structural and bridge engineer in transportation design, Mitch brings a depth of expertise that will keep our bridge department — you guessed it — 'structurally sound' for years to come.
Mitch is a registered Professional Engineer in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, and has dedicated his career to the design and inspection of highway bridges and structures.
A proud Terrapin, Mitch earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. His extensive background as a discipline lead makes him the perfect person to take the helm of our bridges department, and we couldn't be more excited to have him on board.
