Design services included field investigations, establishment of traffic control device needs and determination of safety standards and funding requirements. The signal design services included: plans, specifications and estimates; type/size/location of signal and poles; proposed utility service needs; controllers, cabinets and wiring; accessory devices and equipment; site distance and visibility needs; signal pre-emption, flashing beacons and vehicle detection-loop, video, radar.
