The Leonardtown Library and Garvey Senior Activity Center is an integrated 48,000 SF state of the art facility for information resources, education, and senior activity. BAI coordinated and provided oversight of technical design reviews for all disciplines including Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection. BAI also performed a Constructability Review on the pre-bid documents. The constructability review was performed to make certain the work requirements were clear, the documents were coordinated, and that the documents assisted the contractor in construction/project administration to minimize potential impacts to the project. During construction, BAI’s construction inspector provided onsite owner’s representation, monitored the Contractor’s activities on a daily basis and documented the activities via preparation of Inspection Daily Reports.
