Developed plans, specifications and cost estimates for new and modified traffic signals at more than 250 locations, throughout Maryland.

Several of the signal design tasks were classified by MDOT as “STAR” projects, which required the design to be completed within one week of initial notification. Tasks included determination of safety standards and funding requirements along with type, size and location of signal poles; utility service, controllers and cabinets, wiring, site distance and visibility; vehicle detection (loop, video or radar); signal pre-emption; clear zone analysis; signal systemization; pedestrian countdown signals; overhead clearance and MUTCD/AASHTO compliance.
